About Environmental Advocates

Environmental Advocates was formed in 1987 to make people more aware of local environmental issues and to promote creative solutions to environmental problems. The organization hosts public educational events, work on water quality and other issues, and administers a grant program.

Environmental Advocates is a501(c) nonprofit corporation. All donations are tax deductible.

Environmental Advocates is based in Johnson County, Iowa. Johnson County is in eastern Iowa and includes Iowa City, the seat of the University of Iowa.
