Who We Are
Environmental Advocates was formed in 1987 to make people more aware of local environmental issues and to promote creative solutions to environmental problems. The organization hosts public educational events, works on water quality and other issues, and administers a grant program.
Environmental Advocates is a 501(c) nonprofit corporation based in Johnson County, Iowa. Johnson County is in eastern Iowa and includes Iowa City, Coraville, and the main campus of the University of Iowa.
We hope you will join hands with us and other local environmentally-concerned organizations and together we can create a better environment.
